We want to do something to help LBI Businesses that do not have their own websites, so we are offering FREE set-up and hosting of a one page WordPress website at no cost. WordPress is a website building platform that is fully expandable. I will give you the makings of a starter site that can grow into a full website that you can own, manage, edit, add additional pages — whatever you want!
This way, you can communicate your store’s offerings to your customers and other island visitors without having to spend even more money to get a website up and running. So because this is something I have learned to do for myself, and I want to do something to help others get their business up and running again following hurricane Sandy, this is a service I am willing to donate to help LBI get “back in business” as soon as possible.

If you wish to purchase your own unique domain name, you can do so for less than $20/year. I only ask you purchase one through me instead of one of the big registrars since the cost is pretty much the same and it would be a nice way to show your appreciation for the free site set up and hosting I am offering you. But this is not a requirement. I am signed up with Tucows to be a reseller of domain names, and we have been using them for many years. If you wish to add additional pages, make content changes, add images, logos, etc. and don’t have the time or resources to do so, I will be happy to provide you with a quote. But if you have a little bit of time, even the novice web user can manage their own site easily.
WordPress also offers upgrades to themes, plugins, a Pro version of the service, etc. While none of this is necessary to have a great site, there may be features you want to add and will have the option to do so.
